About me
I very recently completed my Ph.D. from Manning CICS,UMass Amherst. In my PhD work, I dabbled with problems in Mechanistic and Functional Interpretability, with applications in Information Retrieval and Bioinformatics. I was very fortunate to be advised by Distinguished Professor James Allan. I earned an M.S. in CS from UMass Amherst in Fallβ23 and a B.Tech in CS from IIIT-Delhi in Summerβ18. I have previously interned at Bristol Myers Squibb, Genentech and Google India.
I am passionate about using Artificial Intelligence to enhance genomic understanding. My current focus is on developing Mechanistic Interpretability methods that alleviate scientific understanding, by uncovering unknown mechanisms and properties of the underlying data generating processes.
